Rapid growth and accelerating socioeconomic changes present challenging work life situations. Intensifying competition, demands for resources, imbalances at work, and inadequate pre-work preparation subject individuals to more and more stressful situations. To meet rising needs for psychological assistance, The Waterville Employee Assistance Program provides fast, precise and private wellness evaluation solutions. There are three on-line tests to cost-effectively identify disorders and sources of stress.
The Psychological Wellness Assessment (PWA™) System For large scale assessment involving all employees, PWA™ uses core indicators of work-life stressful conditions to identify physical and mental disorders.
The Psychological Health Evaluation (PHE™) System For further confirmation of disabling symptoms that most frequently afflict the working population using more detailed and comprehensive scales. Typically about 20% of the population assessed using the PWA™ will need to be re-evaluated.
The Psychogenic Analysis (PGA™) System To support clinical intervention for severe cases, in-depth analysis of psychosomatic symptoms is performed to locate stressors, evaluate risk level, and assess scope and extent of symptomatic development. Typically 4% of the PWA™ population will require this deeper analysis.
The results from these tests enable clinical psychiatrists and professional counselors to quickly and accurately diagnose disorders and disabilities before applying treatment and intervention measures. It also helps individuals to better understand their problems so as to seek appropriate professional help.
